Richard Kemp

After graduating from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) with a degree in mechanical engineering Richard began his construction career working for an Import Housing company in Japan, where he had close family ties. The company specialized in importing American building materials and constructing American style homes for a niche market in Japan. Enjoying his time abroad, yet missing the area he'd come to love, Richard returned to sunny Florida in the mid 90's. 

However, it was several years before the creation of Naples Build as Richard did his homework, and paid his dues. He first accepted a position with an architectural firm where he focused on polishing his structural & custom design skills, in addition to acting as a project manager/site supervisor himself for another prominent Florida builder. Finally, after what he considered the necessary "field training", and obtaining his Florida State G.C. License, Richard was finally ready to follow his own dream and Naples Build was born. 

Over time he has assembled a group of talented and trusted employees and subcontractors dedicated to exceptional customer service and impeccable craftsmanship. According to Richard, "together they make-up an impressive team, and are without a doubt the behind the scenes reason for the company's continued success and ever growing reputation." In his spare time, when he can find it, Richard enjoys Tennis and Fishing, but above all spending quality family time with his wife and two children.

Maribeth Schultz

Maribeth wears many hats in our office as project coordinator. From estimating new proposals to permitting of each new project. She also assists both clients and designers at the inception of a new project to design, selections, and purchase orders.

Multitasking is an understatement when it comes to Maribeth, but her organized and detail orientated personality, not to mention over 17 years of experience in the field make all of this seem as natural as breathing to her. She began her career in the building industry working at the Collier County building department, specializing in contractor inspections and Certificates of Occupancies, then later with Gulf Bay Construction as their west coast construction administrator. 

Yet after year upon year of working in the corporate and mass production end of the industry she longed for a more personalized and custom venue. That's when we were lucky enough to have her join our team at Naples Build and the rest is history. When not juggling five other projects, Maribeth enjoys spending some down time with her husband, daughter, and grandson who naturally monopolizes every spare moment.

Kelly Blummer

Kelly graduated from the University of Denver with a business degree in the hospitality field, and with a full family history in both the construction and hospitality industries, finally settled down on the construction side.  With over 20 years of business accounting experience, her fondness for both the industry and crunching numbers makes for the perfect combination. Keeping accurate details of both the company’s financials and our clients accounts is vital to the continued success and growth of Naples Build.  When it comes to keeping the company on a solid fiscal foundation, you need look no further, Kelly works tirelessly to ensure this is the case 24/7. On the home front Kelly has two children in College,  one at Nova Southeastern and one FSU, Go Sharks & Noles! She and her husband George have lived here in Naples for over 25 years now and consider themselves “Almost Natives”.
